Will our voices, including the voice of wellness, finally be heard? I hope so…

Sharing stories about wellness through video is important because the majority of people don’t really understand wellness itself—probably because wellness is quite a dynamic process of change.

Some of these stories will be unfamiliar. WHY? Because the camera has not been fixated on alternative medicine resources.

What you see in the mainstream is the content generated to tell you what you should think and talk about—you might think you have a choice – but – do you really?

This weekend I saw the documentary called “Weed the People” by Ricki Lake @rickilake and Abby Epstein @abbyepsteinxoxo. This documentary is all about families who treat their cancer-troubled children with cannabis.

“Cannabis has been off-limits to doctors and researchers in the US for the past 80 years, but recently scientists have discovered its anti-cancer properties. Armed with only these laboratory studies, desperate parents obtain cannabis oil from underground sources to save their children from childhood cancers.” – Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein

What this documentary/story helps me remember is this: when you activate new stories, you transport people to new points of view and change meaning and behavior, and in that way, you change the future for the next generation.

Authentic stories of personal experiences deliver deep understanding that allows true empathy and challenges the false clarity of rooted positions / politics.

Direct experience is a method of education. It gives people freedom to come to their own conclusion. And, once you see these videos, it becomes obvious that you can never ignore them again.

This is one of the reasons I want to talk on a mass scale about the wellness choices we make, because the passive acceptance of the mainstream messaging doesn’t serve us.

Here at CEI Collective, we are on the mission to help WOMEN wellness entrepreneurs—WOMEN who are pioneering the holistic health movement —share their stories and products through video.

We want to help you tap into your story and to create videos for you, so you can use your message to connect, educate, and inspire your tribe.

I would love to connect with all of you #wellness and #holistichealth practitioners.

I’d love to get to know you, so please say hello if this message resonates with you and also please tag women who are pioneering the holistic health movement. If you want to learn how to create authentic video content for your brand – schedule your call now!
